The learning objective of the Tourism Consultancy course is to provide students with an understanding of the basic concepts and principles of tourism consultancy and how to manage them effectively. In addition, the learning objectives also aim to provide students with the ability to develop business designs or tourism business plans, develop tourism products, and manage tourism promotion activities.

The Tourism Consultancy Course is an elective course that can be chosen by students of the Master of Tourism study program at the Indonesian University of Education. Course information can be downloaded at the following link.

After completing the Research Methodology course, students are expected to be able to:

  1. Understand the basic concepts and principles of tourism consulting, including aspects that must be considered in the consulting process.

  2. Understand how to manage tourism consulting projects, including determining work schedules, managing budgets, and compiling project reports.

  3. Understand how to prepare a tourism business plan or business plan, including analyzing markets, determining market targets, and developing marketing strategies.

  4. Understand how to develop tourism products, including determining locations, determining themes, and managing tourist destinations.

  5. Understand how to manage tourism promotion activities, including developing promotion strategies, managing relations with the media, and developing promotional programs.
