For more than 15 years, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) has played an active role in the field of tourism education. During this period, UPI's tourism study program produced thousands of tourism scholars, who later became practitioners and professionals in the field of tourism. Currently, UPI is known as one of the best universities in Indonesia that offers tourism education at the undergraduate level.

Based on this experience, we established the Master of Tourism (S2) Study Program in 2019. Initiated through the INTEM program funded by Erasmus +, UPI's Master of Tourism study program was established with a global vision, which is to become a Tourism study program at the Masters level that gains international recognition in 2025.

In its second year, the Master of Tourism Study Program has been widely known at the national level to the international level. World-class teachers from various overseas universities regularly become Visiting Professor in the process of studying at the Master of Tourism Study Program. In addition, the involvement of the Civitas Academica of the Master of Tourism Study Program in the association of the local and regional tourism communities is one proof of the success of achieving the Study Program's vision.

Besides focusing on global academic achievement, we are also actively committed to actively contribute to the Indonesian tourism community. Through various program activities designed, we become a productive cooperative relationship between the government, industry, students and lecturers from the Master of Tourism Study Program.
